About Axia Monetization

Axia Monetization was founded in 2020 by David Caughman after he sensed a disconnect in the market for professional monetization advice.
The majority of monetization advice today is reserved for companies who are able to spend six or even seven figures on a traditional consulting engagement.  Such companies, typically at much later development stages, must go through a lengthy and painful change management process to correct monetization mistakes that could have been identified much earlier in their evolution.

Axia’s mission is to help more companies get started off on the right foot by broadening access to high quality monetization advice.
Why Axia?
Axia is the Greek word for 'value'. Value is the fundamental building block of a pricing and monetization strategy and includes everything from your product's value, how well your product aligns with customer value drivers all within the context of the value competing products provide.

About me

I have spent the last 9 years focused on helping companies improve their monetization practices.  My consulting experience at Simon-Kucher & Partners provided me visibility into a wide variety of monetization issues and best practices, while, as the second monetization hire at Stripe, I was able to successfully implement monetization strategies in a high-growth environment. In all, I have led or participated in over 40 monetization projects.
I pride myself on being an expert in this field and stay up to date through advising relationships and ongoing professional development.
